The back story
Rhonda Mincey was raised in a single-parent household and was not voted "Most Likely to Succeed" in high school. But she enrolled in college almost 30 years after graduating from high school, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Rhonda earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, her Master’s Degree in Education, and her Graduate Certificate in Cyber Crime in just five years. While obtaining her degrees, she was busy serving others, so she was awarded the Armstrong State University Service Award for making a significant impact in her community. This was one of many awards Rhonda received.
In 2004, Rhonda founded Made 2B More, a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit community-based organization in Atlanta, Georgia. The mission of the organization was to equip girls in middle school with the tools to build self-confidence and develop leadership skills. In 2006, Rhonda was awarded the Turner Broadcasting Station's Pathfinders Award. In 2018, after several name changes, Made 2B More became Great Youth, Inc., to expand its reach to both girls and boys. Rhonda continues to lead the organization in order to transform youths into mentors, leaders, and role models.
And the rest in herstory. Today, Rhonda continues to find new paths that inspire others from all walks of life and from all over the world to live a life of purpose, transforming their mindset from being believers to high achievers.
